From the beginning, the enemy has sought to divide us and bring conflict among humans. Only God can create true unity among people. And once we make peace with him, then – and only then – can we live in true peace with each other.
Through Christ, barriers of division have been removed. Hostility for one another has been put to death. But outside of God, those barriers and hostility remain. Waging peace is not a job for the faint of heart. It is not a job for the “old man.” It is a job for the “one new man.” We must lead the way.
