“He is here: the One who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals His thoughts to man, the One who makes the dawn out of darkness and strides on the heights of the earth. Yahweh, the God of Hosts, is His name.“ (Amos 4:13, HCSB)
The Lord spoke this to my heart on Monday night. If you weren’t with us, we had a ladies meeting called Inspire Night at the church. After worship, New Life’s elders ministered prophetically to anyone who wanted ministry. It was a great night…the Lord was present and God did wonderful things.
As we started, the Lord wanted the ladies to know that he was there. He was present in his power. The same God who rules nature also reveals himself to us and gives us direction as we go through life. He was there that night.
I pray that encourages you today, too. If you are a Christian, His Spirit lives within you. You can say, with confidence: “He is here.” He is present with you right now with miracle-working power you need for your situation. He is present right now with revelation knowledge and the wisdom you need for your situation. He is the Lord of Hosts – he is present right now with the strength you need against your enemies.
Call on him.
He is here. Believe it!
