Dr. Jim Mann - 05/08/2022

The Best Defense is No Offense

Ever notice how long it takes to get in shape and how quickly we can get out of shape? You gotta stick with it. Same with relationships. It means practicing forgiveness. It means pulling up the roots of bitterness, it means pursuing peace, it means seeking reconciliation. As you do these exercises, you grow stronger and your desire to take up offense will lessen. And through it all, God will bring healing to relationships, He will bring healing to your own soul, and He will bring maturity.

Scripture References: Hebrews 12:14-15, Luke 17:1

From Series: "Nobody's Perfekt"

In our last series we talked about how important community and friendship are. But what happens in the real world? How do you get along with imperfect people? Offensive people? Weirdos? Sinners like us? Join us for Dr. Jim Mann’s new sermon series, “Nobody’s Perfekt” as we look at biblical wisdom for managing relationships – both the good and the bad.
