CloseWe are learning that real life in Christ doesn’t come from doing more — it comes from abiding more. In “Rhythms of Renewal: Rest and Restore,” we are invited to stop striving, stop spinning, and find true rest for our souls in Jesus. We are not forgotten, overlooked, or left to carry life's burdens alone. Together, we come to the One who calls us by name — not by our failures, not by our fears, but by who we are in Him. This is a season where we breathe again, where we find strength again, where we discover that rest is not weakness — it is worship.
Scripture References: Matthew 11:28-30, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, Psalms 46:10, John 15:4-5, 1 Peter 5:6-9

Have you found yourself asking, “Why did I sign up for this?” only to be confronted with the truth that this is LIFE.
Life is rarely what we expected it to be when we were kids, and with each new season, it brings with it highs and lows. As Solomon says in Ecclesiastes, there is a time or season for everything. However, most of us forget about the need to renew our lives. This is not natural for mankind, we are wired to keep on doing more and more to achieve our goals. But is that the life that Christ would have us live?
Is it our personal life goal to Just. Do. More? More sports, activities, family vacations, entertainment, church, work, school, more, more, and more. Is doing “more” really the life Christ wants for us?? If we play that thought process out, we desire to go to Heaven at the end of our lives less to be with Jesus, and more to take a break from driving to do MORE.
There might be a better way to live life, establishing health rhythms in our lives by engaging what Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.
Over this 2-week series, we are going to discuss the need to establish a Rhythm of Renewal in your life that is set by the Holy Spirit, not by you or others. The primary Scripture for the series is found in Matthew 11:28–30 (NKJV)"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
During this mini-series, we will be digging into how Rhythms of Renewal is about the process of rest and restoration in a person’s life. We will realize that having a lifestyle of renewal in a believer’s life is not something that is only dreamed about, but something that can be experienced every day in and through the Holy Spirit working in their life. We will understand that rest and restoration are not the absence of the tension of things happening in your life; the issue is when we are out of holy rhythm with the Lord. It is our desire that this series will refresh and revitalize us all in deep and profound ways as we discover Rhythms of Renewal.
