Babylon was on worldwide havoc tour, and God was not pleased with them. Still, God would use them for his own purpose. They are guilty. They are responsible. The righteous live by faith; the wicked perish in their arrogance.
Where is God when bad things happen? It is a question we try to avoid. It is a question we’re afraid to ask, but we all ask it. The Old Testament prophet, Habakkuk, asked that question, too.
