Moving Forward: Friends & Family

Moving Forward: Friends & Family

This message, "Moving Forward: Thriving During Life’s Transitions," focuses on how God uses family and friends as a vital part of His plan to help us through life’s changes. Through Joshua 1:1-9 and the story of Rahab, the reminder is given that relationships are part of God’s provision, offering encouragement, strength, and a shared faith. We are called to trust the people God has placed in our lives, lean on them during hard times, and be that same support for others. This is a message about growing together and thriving in the midst of change.

Scripture References: Joshua 1:1-9

From Series: "Moving Forward: How to Thrive During Times of Transition"

Who has not gone through a change in life? These are when we are tossed into a new season that contains uncertainty and risk, such as a new job, a move, the loss of a friendship, the addition of a new baby, navigating the uncharted waters of retirement, and so on. Life, by its very definition, is about transitions from one season to the next. However, most of us hate change unless we are the ones who are making the change, which doesn’t happen very often. So, how can we, as followers of Jesus, handle change and transitions in life by not simply surviving but thriving in and through it? During this series, in Joshua 1-5, we will find a few principles that will inspire and impact us all in our next seasons as individuals and as a church body. We look forward to seeing you here as we go onward into what the Lord has for us.
