He's There, with a Purpose

God, Where Are You?

God is a redemptive God – he can replace ashes with the oil of gladness, turn deserts into gardens. And because of the riches and wisdom of the knowledge of God, he can even bring good out of your situation. Trust him! You’ll be tempted to turn from God, but embrace him. You’ll be tempted to lean on your own understanding and question his character. Instead, be like Habakkuk and go back and remind yourself of God’s goodness in your past.

Scripture References: Habakkuk 3:1-15

From Series: "God, Where Are You?"

Where is God when bad things happen? It is a question we try to avoid. It is a question we’re afraid to ask, but we all ask it. The Old Testament prophet, Habakkuk, asked that question, too. This sermon series, “God, Where Are You?” seeks to answer that question. Discover how God works in and through terrible situations and what it means to live by faith and trust in God.
