God calls us to move forward, but He never asks us to do it alone. In Joshua 1-5, we see the Israelites follow His presence, remember His faithfulness, and embrace renewal as they step into the Promised Land. We are reminded that every transition requires trust, reflection, and obedience. When we follow where He leads and hold onto His promises, we walk in confidence, knowing He is guiding us every step of the way.

Who has not gone through a change in life? These are when we are tossed into a new season that contains uncertainty and risk, such as a new job, a move, the loss of a friendship, the addition of a new baby, navigating the uncharted waters of retirement, and so on. Life, by its very definition, is about transitions from one season to the next. However, most of us hate change unless we are the ones who are making the change, which doesn’t happen very often. So, how can we, as followers of Jesus, handle change and transitions in life by not simply surviving but thriving in and through it? During this series, in Joshua 1-5, we will find a few principles that will inspire and impact us all in our next seasons as individuals and as a church body.
