The Partnership of the Holy Spirit

It is possible to have the Holy Spirit called alongside and still ignore him. It is possible to have a heavenly coach and refuse his instruction. It is possible to have a heavenly leader we run ahead of. It is possible to have a heavenly leader we refuse to follow. But when we do, we miss the whole point. We’ll never mature like we should. We’ll never overcome the challenges we face like we should. We’ll never grow in our intimacy with God. So my prayer for you is, may “the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the partnership of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”

Scripture References: 2 Corinthians 13:13

From Series: "Paráklētos"

If your desire is to walk through life with Jesus and become more like him, let me introduce you to the Holy Spirit. Not an “it.” He doesn’t just show up at Pentecost. He is a person of the Godhead who wants to help us grow in a fulfilling, exciting, partnership with himself.
