This life is temporary. Our citizenship is in God’s kingdom. The goal of our lives should be to bring glory to God and live in a way that helps others do the same. And we achieve this by trusting God and obeying his command. Then we will be blessed. It may not come in way we hope or expect, but there are always blessings to be counted. The ultimate reward comes in the new heaven and new earth where every tear is wiped away and there is no more pain or death. But, for now, we are all called to surrender, trust, and obey.
