Roofcrashers

In Mark, chapter 2, a paralytic man had four good friends willing to sacrifice their time and energy, stake their reputations, and risk ostracism to serve their friend and get him in front of Jesus. That kind of friendship is rare. But you can still find that kind of friendship today. In a place where friends would carry your mat. A place where someone has an irrational concern for your well-being. A place where someone would go to any length, crash any roof, to get you closer to Jesus. That place is the church. That’s why God created the church. The church is a place where you can bring your mat. We all have them. You won’t be judged or stigmatized. You’ll be led to Jesus. And Jesus will respond to your faith. Jesus said: “Where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them.”

From Series: "Nobody's Perfekt"

In our last series we talked about how important community and friendship are. But what happens in the real world? How do you get along with imperfect people? Offensive people? Weirdos? Sinners like us? Join us for Dr. Jim Mann’s new sermon series, “Nobody’s Perfekt” as we look at biblical wisdom for managing relationships – both the good and the bad.
