A warrior never forgets what they are up against. You have a real enemy who seeks to bring you down and cause destruction in your life. The enemy knows that he can’t take away your salvation, so he wants to make you forget the peace that you have access to through Jesus. He wants you to forget the powerful defense you have in the shield of faith. He wants you to leave your Sword on the shelf and never practice with it. You have the armor of God that equips, protects, and sustains you. You can stand against your enemy by putting on God’s spiritual armor every day. You have to be prepared. And, remember, we can have confidence in these battles knowing that Jesus has already won the war!
