Chosen: Lessons from the Story of Joseph

We humans often want God to move on our schedule in ways we think He should. When He doesn't act in the ways we expect, we are in danger of believing He has failed us, or worse, given up on us. But we have to remember that God is different from us humans. His ways are not our ways. He doesn't change. He keeps His promises. And He doesn't give up on us no matter how messed up we think we are. The best response to suffering and disappointment is surrender. His ways, not our ways. Surrender to Him. Wait on Him. He is faithful.
