One of the first things John the Baptist tells the multitude of followers who come to see him in the wilderness: “I am not the Christ.” It might sound crazy, but maybe this is a reality we need to come to grips with, too. Too often we are challenged with and struggle against our finiteness. In this sermon series we will discuss what it truly means to be human and deal with our three big temptations: Be everywhere, know it all, and fix everything. There’s a comfort in learning to let God be God and being human.
