Dr. Jim Mann - 10/04/2020

Loving the Unlovely

God sent his Son – He loved the unlovely. Our role on this planet is to follow his lead – to make the world a better place for his glory…to be peacemakers and ambassadors for Christ. God wants us to add a little extra to life – not just get through without harming others, but to actually leave this a better place for our being here. This only happens when we take action…"Love your enemies, do what is good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” (Luke 6:27–28, CSB)

From Series: "Waging Peace"

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the sons of God.” ~ Jesus (Matt. 5:9) Our world is one of conflict, division, and violence. Our nation is being torn apart before our eyes. We’re at a boiling point and we long for peace. But how can we find it? How can we promote it? The answer lies in the Church: “God…reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:18).” In this sermon series by Dr. Jim Mann, we will discover the art of “waging peace,” how it will bless our own lives and relationships, and ultimately change the world. “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts (Col. 3:15).”
