We are called to love people. And yes, we expose the darkness they live in, not by calling fire from heaven, but by living life among them. We will be rejected by some. We will be treated rudely. We’ll be called names. We’ll be given every opportunity to take offense.
But we won’t. We’ll keep loving. We’ll just move to the next village and let our light shine there.
“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light… (Eph. 5:8).” What does it mean to be a Christian in today’s dark – and increasingly darkening – world? How do we live as “children of light?”
