Talking with God

Today I wanted to take a minute to let you know about our next Family Legacy Workshop coming up soon! The workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 21st, from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm here at New Life Church. I hope you can attend this dynamic workshop, and would encourage you to invite friends or family to attend as well!

Our topic for this next workshop is: Practicing Prayer – Why, When, Where, and How!

Our desire is to make these workshops as meaningful as possible for our attendees. So, we’re inviting all those who register to be involved in shaping the content of this next workshop!

We are offering a way for you to provide feedback on our topic, about what is most important to you! We want to know what questions, concerns, or aspects of prayer in the home you would like to see addressed during the workshop.

To provide this feedback to us, we’ll have you click on the registration link for the upcoming workshop. On the registration page you will have the option to open a separate form that will allow you to offer 3 different comments about prayer in the home – questions, concerns or aspects you’d like to see us cover. And the best part is, your comments will be submitted to us anonymously! Isn’t that great?

Now, we can’t guarantee that we’ll hit every comment or question submitted – but we will use what you submit to help shape the content of our workshop!

During the workshop we’ll follow the same format a before – a general welcome with everyone all together, dismissing the kiddos to their respective areas (preschoolers, elementary grade students, and, of course, youth), spending about an hour on our topic – including a guest speaker – before bringing everyone back together for just a few minutes to close things up and dismiss families for the evening. The workshop is free, and childcare will once again be available for your infants and toddlers.

I’m excited and encouraged about this next workshop, and am grateful for your commitment to making faith-building in the home a priority for your family!

Looking forward to seeing you there!
