Man, what a long couple days of travel. We left Dallas/Fort Worth on Sunday and flew 14 hours…spent the night in Dubai. When you get a chance, watch a discovery channel show about that city…wow! We had a great evening trying to stay awake until nighttime.
Got up this morning and walked by myself praying until i found myself in a local mosque where we had a “pray off”…Jesus won. Another flight to Entebbe, Uganda (4 hours)…an hour drive to the school…then we saw them.
By the time we got there, there were only 300 or so children – tomorrow during school there will be 1,000. When our team arrived, the children shouted and danced. I had never met these children but within minutes they were crawling all over me. We got a chance to look around and play with the children before we came back for devotionals and bedtime.
Tomorrow I will have better internet access and more time to post…and pictures to share as well. But I wanted to let everyone know we made it safely. Keep praying! Thank you for sending us…
